The clamps look OK. Everything twists, snaps. But usually the packages that require this fastening are made of foil material. The package is like thin, but not so much as polyethylene. In the end, such a package is like closed. But you should tilt and press some of the contents out of the under-latch.
In general, I do not know, if the package was thinner (with thinner walls), it would hold the latch well. But since such packages (spare blocks with shampoo, liquid soap, mayonnaise, sauces) from a fairly dense material, the clasp does not wash off. A pity, because. It's not a bad idea.
